MANIFESTO:
Junk Press is an independent publishing collective established in 2023 by Rose St. Brigid. Our organization evolved out of a desire to revive the creative spirit of the Beat Generation vis-à-vis colloboration with new, unrepresented, and / or unconventional voices. Our publications are manifestations of this ideal, and we seek the input of a variety of diverse contributors from across the USA and around the world.
'Junk' Literary and Arts Journal is our flagship project. We publish bianually in Winter (December) and Spring (May). There are no strict barriers to entry when it comes to subject matter or form, but we urge interested artists to consider our overall aesthetic vision when preparing their work for submission.

Rose St. Brigid (ig: @rosestbrigid) is the founder of Junk Press, the Editor-in-Chief for 'Junk' Literary and Arts Journal, and the propreitor of Junk Booksellers LLC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English ('23) and is based in Florida, USA.
Molly T. Bowes (ig: @mollytheresebowes) is the Artistic Director for 'Junk' Literary and Arts Journal. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Expanded Media ('22) and is based in Nova Scotia, CA.
